Grab your clubs and hit the links of North Delta with this itinerary.

It's sunnier here, and that's just a fact. A day on our Delta greens can often bring sunny skies, while the rest of the Lower Mainland finds itself undercover. This #WeLoveDelta day trip takes you to a unique patio, the greens of North Delta and offers some great apres golf suggestions for culture cuisine.

1. SkyHawk Restaurant

One of the most underrated patios in Delta has to be Skyhawk's. Situated inside the Boundary Bay Airport, the SkyHawk patio sits as near to the tarmac as you can get without a pilot license. It started as a small coffee shop back in 1988 and blossomed into a burger, Asian-influenced, and hand-crafted all-day breakfast hub for pilots, travelers, and diners who enjoy a unique setting. Sip your coffee, enjoy your order, all while watching planes take flight and land steps away.

2. Delta Golf Course & Club

As this is a golf itinerary, it's tee time next! Delta Golf Course & Club is a 4933-yard course featuring seven par 3's, nine par 4's and two par 5s. Their public clubhouse offers a bistro, restaurant, and a pro shop with cart and club rentals if desired. For early arrivals, hit the range onsite, or get your swing sorted on the putting and chipping practice area.

If you're new to golf, no worries. Tips and training sessions are also available with their CPGA and CGTF teaching pros. Be sure to book your tee time (you can do so here) as summer days fill up quickly!

Quick Facts:

  • Full driving range with infrared heating for cool days & night practice.

  • Chipping & putting practice area

  • Family-friendly

  • MAIN COURSE: 18 holes, 4933-yard course featuring seven par 3’s, nine par 4’s, and two par 5’s.

3. Apres Golf

Should you be looking to stay by the greens, Delta Golf Course has delicious choices for apres in their newly constructed Clubhouse. With a full-service restaurant and a bar overlooking the 9th green and lagoon, it's a great place for apres drinks or the whole dinner shebang. If the greens weren't kind today and you need a change of scenery, it's a quick jaunt over to Ladner Village where a myriad of cuisine choices await. May we suggest ending the day riverside at Sharkey's Seafood Bar & Grille for craft brews, pub-fare, and sunset views that will surely make up for any lost putts.
