Every January 1st, hundreds of brave humans gather at Boundary Bay's Centennial Beach for Delta's annual Polar Bear Swim. This chilly tradition has been making waves in our community since the late 1970s when a small group of adventurous locals decided to welcome the new year with a refreshing dip in the frigid waters.
What makes Delta's swim unique in a sea of cold-plunging events across the Lower Mainland is its intimate community vibe and stunning locale.
