Discover Ladner Village Shops, History, and Charm
Historic Ladner Village is a great spot to spend the day meandering locally owned shops, many with old-fashioned storefronts reminiscent of old towns. The Village is often used as a film set for this very reason! This itinerary gives you an afternoon in Ladner, shopping, and eating - what a great combo!

When you first turn onto 48th Avenue and enter historic Ladner Village, you'll be hard-pressed to miss Stir Coffee House, proudly pouring 49th Parallel Coffee. Fuel up with a specialty coffee or steeped tea. Their baristas are top-notch, so feel free to macchiato, almond milk it up. Fun fact - the owner, Robert, is the son of Johnny Lowe, who operated Ladner Grocery in this very spot decades ago.
Head down 48th Street towards a boulevard of picturesque storefronts home to locally owned & managed shops. Hygge Bath will help you curate a cozy lifestyle with their bath bombs, organic skincare, and zen-inspired household items, and a browsing session at Vinca's Kitchen will inspire cooks of all levels, from toast burners to culinary creators, with their colourful tableware, cookbooks, linens, and kitchen gadgets. New to their expanded storefront is a full kitchen, your spot to craft new skills from local celebrity chefs.
Turn on to Delta Street and continue to Camille's Boutique and Gallery for wearable art and locally made gifts and artwork, or take a turn for adventure and drop into Stillwater Sports, a wonderful camping, fishing, and hunting shop that's as far from big box as you can get!
Time for a break? This strip has it all. From local brews to baristas. If coffee is required, Localz Urban Cafe or My Original Danish Pastry Baker will set you up with a cozy table, hot bevy, and flaky treat while across the street, Ladner's Ale Trail destination awaits. Britannia Brewing is your spot to raise a pint and indulge in fish & chips or their Power Bowl. Il Posto, a casual Italian Eatery with a Main street vibe is also steps away featuring stone-oven pizzas, pasta, and wines galore. So, what’s it going to be?
Before you wrap your shopping day in Ladner, around the corner is one of the most unique shops - Dragonfly Antique & Salvage. If you're a lover of vintage goods and spectacular finds, allow browsing time for this gem of a store chock-full of collectibles and pieces.
