Shop Local, Feel Good: Spring Markets

These days, supporting local isn’t just a nice idea - it’s essential (Elbow's Up!). With rising costs and tariffs affecting goods from afar, there’s never been a better time to invest in what’s grown and crafted right here in Delta. When you shop at our spring markets, you’re not just picking up farm-fresh produce, artisan goods, and unique decor, you're strengthening the local economy, supporting passionate and creative entrepreneurs, and, let’s be honest, hopefully feeding your soul. Because there’s something special about strolling a local market with your friends and community, meeting the faces behind your food, hearing the story behind your jewellery, or learning why someone does what they do - and love.

Here's your calendar of upcoming Spring Markets with local shopping, food trucks, and live music - so you can make a day out of it!

Ladner Village Spring Market

Spring is in the air, and so is the buzz for the Ladner Village Spring Market happening the first weekend of April within Harris Barn on both Saturday and Sunday. With free entry and a welcoming atmosphere for all, even your furry friends, this event is the perfect way to warm up to the farmers market season. Discover local vendors, handmade goods, and fresh finds all under one historic roof.

Extend your stay by exploring historic Ladner Village, where even more local products, art, and boutique shopping awaits in unique storefronts like Vinca's Kitchen, Hygge Bath, Buttercup's Children's Boutique, and Camille's. Stroll past charming storefronts, soak in the village vibe, with your pick of authentic dining choices from Taverna Gorgona Greek to Sapporo Kitchen sushi.

🛍️Saturday + Sunday, April 5 & 6 10 AM - 4 PM

Southlands Spring Market

The Collective Markets is bringing their Spring Market back to Southlands, Tsawwassen on April 19th with a fresh lineup of local artisans, farm-fresh goods, and hand-crafted essentials from soaps to totes. Rain or shine, the indoor setting of the Red Barn creates a cozy shopping vibe complete with live music and food trucks waiting for your appetite outside. Loads of space for kids to meander around, with Earthwise gardens, coffee shops, and boutiques like the Hub Refillery nearby.

Make a full day of it and plan for a local feast at Four Winds Beach House sipping craft brews made on-site, or dip up to 56th Street for grazing tapas at Gracie's Next Door or hit the scenic patio of Pat Quinn's overlooking the greens of Tsawwassen Springs.

Why Delta's Markets Matter

These spring market shopping destinations are more than mere markets - they are a testament to the farm-to-table lifestyle and shop local initiatives that defines us. For visitors, these markets provide a window into Delta's unique character - a place where agriculture meets contemporary creativity. For locals, they enhance our community connection with a vibrant showcase of our collective talents, and very often, simply provide a meeting point for friends and neighbours to gather. We'll see you there.

Note: Check the official websites for Ladner Village Market and The Collective Markets for specific dates, times, and vendor information before planning your visit.
