Tower Fitness Equipment

Following the strict COVID-19 restrictions that were implemented earlier this year, many businesses adapted their service delivery models to operate with increased precautions and safety protocols. Read on to learn how Tower Fitness made the necessary changes to survive and ultimately thrive in a changing environment.

"When the pandemic was first declared, we were not sure how to predict the impact on our fitness equipment business.  We knew that our many commercial customers like community centres, hotels, rehab clinics, and strata councils would close their fitness rooms, which did occur, and the demand for our commercial fitness equipment would decrease, which also did occur, though not completely. This was followed by an onslaught of residential customers looking for fitness equipment and accessories for their homes due to these very same commercial fitness facilities being temporarily closed. Since then, the home gym demands for both equipment and services have remained and many of our commercial customers have started to re-open their fitness facilities. As a result, we have adapted and added additional fitness equipment solution offerings such as clear mobile protective dividers to place in front of or beside fitness equipment in use, clear cardio console covers, and provision of ideas and suggestions for our commercial customers to safely re-open their fitness facilities.

How we operate has most definitely changed due to COVID-19.  Entrance to our showroom is controlled with only 2 customers being allowed inside at any one time with physical distancing, hand sanitizing, and regular disinfecting of equipment occurring.  We have definitely also seen an increase in online shopping with either shipping or customer pickups, vs in-store purchases with contactless payment, though both are options.  Our fitness equipment service technicians were off the road from mid-March to the end of May but are now back at it and taking every precaution when at customer’s locations by physical distancing and being equipped with gloves, face coverings, shoe covers, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant for the fitness equipment we touch and service.

Our showroom and store are open for you to visit; view and try our treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, spin bikes, indoor rowers, climbers, benches, strength equipment and many other offerings, or online at www.towerfitnessequipment.ca.  Being centrally located in Delta, British Columbia provides us with an ability to provide convenient supply and on-site service throughout Metro Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler and the Fraser Valley.  We also supply and service Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, and throughout BC."
